TrinaStorage Expands into Latin America With New Office in Chile
TrinaStorage Enters Latin America with New Office in Chile
TrinaStorage, a leading global provider of energy storage solutions, has inaugurated an office in Chile, choosing Chile as its launchpad for entering the Latin American market. This strategic move aligns with Chile's ambitious clean energy goals, including the recently enacted Electric Energy Storage and Electromobility Law and the target of achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
Vicente Walker, appointed as TrinaStorage's Business Manager for Latin America and the Caribbean, will lead storage operations in Chile and the wider region. He expressed excitement about the company's commitment to supporting Chile's Energy National Resiliency Commission (ENRC) with storage projects.
This expansion complements Trina Solar's (TrinaStorage's parent company) existing presence in Chile's solar module sector for over a decade. With Chile experiencing a surge in renewable energy projects, particularly solar, TrinaStorage is well-positioned to contribute to the country's clean energy goals. Backed by Trina Solar's extensive experience in solar modules, TrinaStorage offers reliable storage solutions, having completed over 4 GWh of projects globally.
