IIJ Group Opens New Sales Office in Wuxi, China
Japanese internet and network solutions provider, IIJ Global Solutions, has expanded its presence in China with a new sales office in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province.
Wuxi is a major industrial hub in China, particularly for electronics, technology, and semiconductors. The new office will allow IIJ to better serve existing customers in the region, including many Japanese companies.
IIJ's existing base in Shanghai already provides a range of IT solutions, including office IT and security services. The new Wuxi office will further enhance IIJ's capabilities in China, focusing on:
- Supporting digital transformation (DX) efforts at manufacturing sites in Wuxi and surrounding areas, including Suzhou, Changzhou, and Changshu.
- Providing Operational Technology (OT) security services. This means helping companies secure the systems that control equipment in factories and other facilities.
The new office officially opened for business on 8 April 2024.
