Cybersecurity leader eSentire has expanded its global footprint with the launch of a new Technology Innovation Center in Bengaluru, India. This move strengthens eSentire's access to a talented pool of engineers specializing in cybersecurity, generative AI, and low-code automation.

The center's primary focus is accelerating the development of eSentire's Atlas XDR Cloud Platform across three key areas:

  • Low-code orchestration and automation: This will empower eSentire's security analysts to handle cyber threats more efficiently.
  • Generative AI: The center will explore using AI to enhance investigation and response workflows for both end-users and eSentire's Security Operations Center (SOC).
  • Further development of eSentire's Intellectual Property: The goal is to deliver native security detection, investigation, and response across various data sources like networks, endpoints, logs, cloud, and identities.

eSentire hired 50 top software engineers in India to spearhead this initiative, led by Chief Technology Officer Dustin Hillard and VP of Engineering Raghunath Konda.

Why India?

According to eSentire's CTO, India boasts a thriving cybersecurity talent pool, particularly in cloud security and generative AI. This strategic move allows eSentire to leverage local expertise and accelerate the capabilities of its XDR platform.
